Kate Dillon is hot, I don't know what the fuck they're on about.

I'm biased but I honestly don't give a shit right now. If a person is attractive, they're attractive - I don't particulary like the first two in the post but the third is to my liking. Just the way that I don't particularly like Paris Hilton but I think Nicole Kidman has got it going on.

Label it "fat" if you want - I'll label you as "simpleton." Fair's fair.

I don't know why people think it's so necessary to point out that they think being fat is unhealthy all the fucking time. Do they think that some hapless fat person is going to stumble across their comment and think, "wow, you know, I never thought of it that way before"?

Even if they're right (and there's evidence that they aren't nearly as right as they think they are), it comes across as just another excuse to rag on fat people.

Whoa. I had to check since I think that women with curves are just some of the most beautiful things ever, and wow. If Kate Dillon ever wanted to try her hand at acting, I think she's make a beautiful Poison Ivy in a Batman Begins sequel. Provided that whoever's casting at that time realises that Ivy's supposed to be curvy and voluptuous, not have the body of a twelve year old boy.

Plus, upon a google image search,I find this picture, which just totally makes me think of Ivy/Harley.

This post makes me happy (er, not the person calling them fat) because these models look like me! Except my legs are crappy and I'm short. I guess I've really never looked at plus size models before... actually, I wonder if they even wear plus sized clothes or are just at the higher end of the junior/misses sizes?

Something I've been railing against lately is this pervasiveness of the US media. Ugh! Used to be I could turn on the networks-in-Spanish and see something other than blonde/blue/skinny. Not so much lately. The only "normal" women are the ones playing the maids on the novelas.

while we're talking about fat chicks, I thought I'd plug old navy's new plus-size line. It's great if you have bigger hips/junk in the trunk, b/c their base hip measurements are 5" larger than at Lane Bryant with a similar waist measurement. I'm serious, it's 5 full inches. I've never had a pair of shorts that fit so well *loves*.

Plus it's affordable and pretty darned cute.
