'Scuse me while I whip this out: TransWank!
[info]fire_trucks posts a picture of a prosthetic penis on [info]wtf_inc (warning: NSFW) with the following commentary:

Are you a woman who has always wanted to have a penis but have never had the courage to undergo the massive reconstruction on your genitals? Look no further than this site. From the page:

Whether you're new to packing with a prosthetic soft pack penis or been doing it for years, you know how or you'll soon find out how risky it is to wear your packer loose in your underwear - Well, here's the solution, and an effective one at that! Proven to keep your packer safe, secure and you feeling comfortable not to mention giving you an impressive package!

I've said it before, I'll say it again: the web makes you see craaaaaaazy things.

[info]eljuno responds:

Um, I think it's pretty obvious this was intended for drag kings or FTM transsexuals, especially because it's from the Transitional Male, so...

The OP replies:

And FTM is still a woman.

Sez [info]eljuno:

And you're a transphobic asshat.

Have a nice day.

And they're off!

Highlights include: gratuitous Picasso references, bad spelling, punctuation, and misuse of the carriage return feature. Oh, and not getting it. Really not getting it.

Is there... any way of responding to that sort of thing more intelligently than "come closer and say that so I can beat you senseless with the prosthetic you're yapping about"?

Good. Because I can't stand schmuck who try to tell people that they can't decide for themselves who, and what they are.

Absolutely. That's part of why it's Gender Identity Disorder and not Gender Identity We're All Wonderful Happy People, after all.

Well, in my case. I dunno you. :3

Oh, I don't have the disorder. I just think you have the right to decide your own identity.
It is your life, after all.

...dude. [info]fire_trucks needs to cash in his attitude and buy a clue. Seriously. I mean, besides the whole "FTM is still a woman" thing, who the hell has never heard of strap-ons? I'm pretty sure even my mother knows what a strap-on is. Hardly "wtf" material.

My mum watched the Tipping The Velvet TV adaptation. She's certainly heard of strap-ons now :)

Well, it's not exactly mysterious terminology, either. :) I mean, even a mom can narrow down exactly what one would need to "strap on" in a sexual situation.

Oh, good, I wasn't the only one wondering about [info]fire_trucks's ignorance of strap-ons. Honestly, people, if you don't know what a strap-on is, you're not using the internet correctly!

Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole.

...zuh? I know he explained where he got that from, but still, what the hell does Picasso have to do with anything here?

Also, I bet many of Picasso's ex-wives and girlfriends used that word. Loudly.

From here:

The English language is clear-cut. That's why we got words like "clear-cut".

AHahahahahahahahahahaha. OMG, I can't stop laughing. I mean Jesus... *cracks ups* here we've got someone who purports to be a staunch believer/defender/wtfever of language... *rolls* and then they spout that off. *DIES LAUGHING*

My god, anybody with two brains cells to rub together who has studied language(s) even as a hobby know how much shit that statement is. Language itself and the words that are its building blocks are constantly evolving. So no, there is nothing 'clear-cut' about it.

Fucking hilarious!

Ah, [info]fire_trucks... last time I saw you, you were begging the women on [info]religion_etc for their pictures and permission to worship them.
You're easily confused, aren't you? Poor, poor netmoop, surrounded by all those big words and difficult concepts. Now, if you go from Oakland to San Jose, you are no longer in Oakland, yes? Oakland *to* San Jose. Female *to* Male. I know, I know, all this logic makes your ickle head spin, but you can do it!

280 South is one of the lovlier stretches of highway I've seen, too.

Why do they call it Fish Ranch Road?

Of course, why you'd *want* to leave Oakland and peruse the lovely stretches of the 280 (or the 24/680, for the scenic route) just to get to San Jose, I don't know.

Route 1 is indeed quite scenic. Although if you're as prone to motion sickness as I am, the twists and turns leave a lot to be desired. XP

Actually, since the fog forces one to drive at a more leisurely pace, it can curb the impulses of those who would take each curve like Mario Andretti, thereby reducing me to green-facedness. x_X

My mom went to grad school at Cal, and I grew up there. Viva la People's Republic of Berserkeley!

P.S. They call it "Fish Ranch Road" because a family with the surname Fish had a ranch there back in the day.

Now as to why they call it San Pablo Damn Dam Road - well, that's anyone's guess.

I'm a little disappointed. Because, how cool would a fish-run ranch be? They could wear hats and lasso stuff.
