I'm certain I'm going to regret asking this but, what exactly is Tubgirl all about anyway? I've heard it mentioned a few places, and I know it's supposed to be something gross and all that, but I haven't actually seen it for myself (thankfully). Could somebody clue me in on what exactly this Tubgirl thing is like? No links to the actual image, I mean. I just want the general idea about it. I work in a computer lab on campus here, and my job is to basically sit in a little cubicle in case somebody needs help. However, people that need assistance are few and far (VERY far) between, so my real job is to find ways to keep myself occupied for six hours. Fortunately, I get a little computer with a nice connection to use however I wish or need. So, I guess you could say that, in a way, looking at stuff like that actually is part of my work. Or, to rephrase that slightly, "LJ friends pages: They're like work, in a way." (Reply to this)(Parent)

	I work in a specialty shop that is sometimes very slow. Yeah, I could sit behind the counter with a book, but that's really only marginally more productive than reading my LJ. =P (Reply to this)(Parent)

Sometimes you're a receptionist or other paid-to-answer-calls type person and calls aren't coming in; sometimes work is slow but you're there in case something comes up. Sometimes, like me, you're sort of encouraged to take a long time on a given project because they hired you and don't have much for you to do. And sometimes you're working for someone you just don't give a shit about, and you're slacking. Nothing says you have to follow the rules all the time. ;) (Reply to this)(Parent)
