Meta-crock-o-wank!
Metafilter goes into theology wank when fleetmouse posts a plug for Metacrock.

You know it's good when we should lock up the children.

It's a nice change when we have to protect ourselves from the children, rather than the other way around.

I often feel that way. Kids are creepy little bastards. And they ruin my R-rated movies at midnight.

A theater I saw The Matrix Reloaded (after 10 showing) at had to have security escort out a woman who changed her infant's diaper on the stairs during the movie, and refused to leave when the audience freaked out.

As horrible as that woman's actions were ( can we say E.Coli?), it does have some relation to Matrix Reloaded.

Having worked in food service for years, I had tons of incidents where babies were changed, not only on tables, but on the front counters where people order and pick up their food.

Or on the Play Place tables and equipment. Ew.

On the plus side, though, at least nobody in the theater had TB.

Yep. Been there, done that. Heck, last night I had to be the one to firmly and usefully repremand the 7 y-o that had been kicking the back of my chair and shoulders for 15 minutes at the Nationals game last night. This after her Mom/aunt/sister/relative of some sort did the wishy-washy "stooooop putting your feet there sweetie cakes." which sweetie cakes ignored.

Ah, the modal ontological argument is pretty much the defintion of theology wank.
