Funny you should bring this up! Over on childfree someone mentioned this general drama--not naming names or linking to it, as is stipulated in childfree's rules--and the community reacts with its usual range of reactions.

Despite her name never coming up in the discussion, english_peach comes on over to apologize to childfree!

And I have to say, I found this comment deeply ironic, considering the poster in question is a member of CF who is willing to bear a child simply to ensure that the child her boyfriend already has doesn't feel welcome to visit his father.

It's not terribly difficult to avoid dating men with kids.

(Actually, in Northern California, I find not being poly a more difficult hurdle in finding people to date, than not wanting children.)

I don't know if I could have hoped for a better stepdad than mine. He's a seriously cool guy, and there aren't the words for how much I appreciate him. My dad's girlfriend, on the other hand, is a cowbag. I don't think, however, that even she's stupid enough to try and get dad to stop seeing us.

For fuck's sake! If I'm remembering correctly, one of the things the CFers (which this woman apparently claims to be) loathe is bad parents. And this woman is encouraging that?
