Pit Bull/PETA wank, thankee wank_report.
Somebody posts a picture of a dog (apparently a Bull Terrier, not sure how you can tell under all that, really) that got on the wrong side of a porcupine in [info]wtf_inc.

[info]omygawd then decides to piss in the logic pool with this comment:

i'm all for dogs, i'm all for animals (i belong to PETA here). but when i saw that, i thought (and still do) poor dog :( but then i didn't feel so sorry for s/he just because of all those vicious dogs killing and attacking people here in toronto (and other places).

:(

She does try to keep up her end for a few comments, but what follows is more of a collective community beatdown than actual wank. Still, it's amusing to see somebody with the immortal words
even though it seems like it, i am not trying to shove my thoughts, ideas, beliefs and opinions down your throat.. it's just, i know i'm right. and you're wrong :)
on her profile giving up so quickly.

It looks like the dog was too stupid to stop biting/chasing/attacking it after the first poke. I wonder if it got put down afterwards, cos that would be one messed-up doggyface after you pulled them all out.

Because, of course, it's only "nasty" dogs like pit bulls bite people... *facepalm* I have scars that prove that theory wrong.

"All for dogs" my ass....As soon as people like you die off the sooner people with LOVING pit bulls who have RESPONSIBLE owners can live in peace without people like YOU throwing around the idea that Pit Bulls are somehow deserving....

Hey....how about this! There was this white woman who in a bad car accident, but I guess that's kinda deserving especially since earlier in the week, some other white guy beat his wife....they're all bad I tell you! Everyone white should be punished and banned! Oh wait...that wouldn't be fair...And why? Because it was only ONE individual....doesn't mean all are bad.

Scariest dog I ever knew was a five-pound (2.5kg) rat terrier. His owners finally had him put down after he killed a full-grown Suffolk ram (about a 200-pound/ 90 kg sheep!).

When I heard that a local PETA "wildlife rescue" group was raising brown rats and starlings (in North America, so both are non-native), I lost all hope for the ability of that group to make good decisions.

Daaayum. The biggest thing my 120 lbs Bouvier ever killed was a house mouse and we think he just licked it to death.

Heh. My dog is probably mostly rat terrier. She's an evil-minded thing who hates all small furry animals and insects, but the biggest thing she's killed has been a possum. I have no idea what she'd *think* of a sheep...

Also, GIP. :)

Well, terriers. I love terriers, but I know my childhood dog, an Airedale, harbored a secret dream to be an unstoppable killing machine and used to enact it on any ground squirrel stupid enough to poke its head up while she was out in the yard. Also a rabbit, once - one of the more traumatic incidents of my childhood, that.

I will admit that I am terrified of dogs and the bigger they are the more scared of them I am. I also admit that pit bulls and the like scare me more because they *look* scarier TO ME. But I won't say that dogs are bad or evil because I'm scared of them.

/has had bad experiences with dogs

Logic go boom. And poor puppy.

My dog is half Rottweiler and people always assume that if she barks at them she's going to attack them. She's a huge baby though. Certain breeds of dog just get a bad rap due to a few irresponsible owners. One of my nieghbors have two purebred giant Rottweilers and they're the sweetest dogs you've ever seen.

The animal shelter I volunteer at won't write Pit Bull as the breed. They label all Pit Bulls and Am Staffs as Staff (not that I can actually tell the difference), so people won't ignore the poor things. They really are the sweetest dogs, and so people-friendly.

We'd also get whole litters of puppies that were part Pit, and they are impossibly cute with their adorable wrinkly faces. We never had problems getting those adopted, of course.
