there are a FEW people I know who have the cognitive ability to write reasonable and genuinely GOOD fan fiction ... Ironically most of these people write Sonic The Hedgehog fanfiction, it must be something they put in the water.

Heck, I only read fanfiction when I need a good laugh, but even I wouldn't post a long, rambling rant about it. What's the point?
Also, i don't really get the 'I use (ie, mispronounce) Japanese phrases but don't actually speak Japanese' thing. When you need a glossary just to figure out what you are reading, it think it's time to stop.

You're fagging up just about every goddamn good series in existence with your beliefs that you're writing is actually worth a shit.

On one hand, I'm an anal-retentive copy-editor who has incredibly exacting standards of language and should just STFU about common mistakes.

But on the other, I find the irony of that mistake, in that sentence, way too funny.
