Illegal Wank for Our New World Order!
Between the clueless newbie who was confused why his request for a hitman/assasin was deleted, worries about the New World Order America has become under Bush and the paranoid mod who thinks everyone is out to get her,
wanks cannot get much more surreal than this.

*cackle!*

I love that, man. OMG SOCIALIST CANADA!

Wow, I must've missed the memo that said AAAAA MOTHERLAND.

I just love when people with first cousins for parents make stupid assumptions about Canadian health care.

Ah, now I know what's wrong with you -- you believe everything that you're told.

And she gets her info from where then? Clearly not from other people because that would require her to believe something that she's been told...

Well, that took a left turn at Albuquerque and just kept on going. Mind-control flouride? I knew flouride is toxic, but--mind control? Bwahaha! One day, dentists shall rule the world!

Seriously, a friend of mine has done all sorts of research on why fluoride is put in drinking water. He says it's a by-product of aluminum refining(? is that the word?), and that it serves no purpose and presumably putting it in the water just gets rid of it and makes money for The Big Corporations. Also, I have heard that putting fluoride in water, while not so much mind controlling, does make people more docile. I have no idea if any of this is true. I think maybe my buddy is just bitter about the fluoride stains on his teeth.

Invoking the shade of William S. Burroughs
[info]hangingfire
2005-08-17 03:38 pm UTC (link)
...just because it's fun, really:
And when the Cincinnati Anti-Fluoride Society met to toast their victory in pure spring water, all their teeth dropped out on the spot.

"And I say unto you, brothers and sisters of the Anti-Fluoride movement, we have this day struck such a blow for purity as will never call a retreat.... Out, I say, with the filthy foreign fluorides! We will sweep this fair land sweet and clean as a young boy's tensed Hank.... I will now lead you in our theme song The Old Oaken Bucket."

A well head is lighted by fluorescent lights that play over it in hideous juke-box colors. The Anti-Fluorides file past the well singing as each dips up a drink from the oaken bucket....

"The old oaken bucket, the gold oaken bucket
The glublthulunnubbeth..."

A. J. had tampered with the water, inserting a South American vine that turns the gums to mush.

God, the John Birch Society has won this one, obviously.

Groundwater used for drinking in most of the Rocky Mountain region has higher concentrations of naturally occuring fluoride than is added to drinking water in other states.

The shenannigans about fluoride being a means to sedate the citizenry has its basis in the relationship of Fluorine and Boron in the periodic table: some borides are, indeed, sedating, but by this line of reasoning so is good old sodium chloride.

See, one of my best friends, who was born in Canada and still lives there (and who goes to the doctor as much as anybody else) says their health care is lovely.

WRONG! But thanks for playing.

Could any health care system be described as lovely?

Just thinking about it, but I think I've heard horror stories regarding every single healthcare system under the sun - both nationalised and private. I mean, I couldn't imagine surviving under the American system and having to worry about not being able to afford seeing a doctor, but then the NHS isn't exactly in good health either (and with my mum and stepdad working for the NHS, as an upper-management type and a GP, I hear far too much about it)
