Kellogg's doesn't give a shit about you This one's just weird. She proceeds to write a furious letter to Kellogg's explaining that if they do not immediately remove the offending commercial, she will stop buying their products, which, she explains very specifically in several paragraphs, would amount to about a $200 annual loss for Kellogg's. When she inevitably receives a vague form letter in return from Kellogg's, she is surprised that it says nothing of removing the commercial, which she had expected them to do immediately. Genuinely confused by this apparent oversight, she says: "I'm tempted to... use their online form to ask them to tell me whether or not they plan on taking that commercial off the air." Yeah, maybe they just forgot to mention it. When community members point out that, duh, of course a multinational corporation isn't going to change their marketing strategy based on a single letter, I'm one of those people who holds out hope when logic says there probably isn't a good reason left to hope. If you read my letter to them, you may have noticed that Kellogg's has made over $1000 from me in the past 5 years. In my opinion, that might have made a difference to them, especially considering there was no reason why my patronage should have stopped in the future other than this commercial. But I suppose they didn't give a shit. You mean to tell me The Man doesn't give a shit about your thoughts OR your $200? The SHOCK! The only wanker here is the OP, but her self-important naïvete wanks very hard indeed. Post a comment in response: |
