"Fionna Apple got fat" wank
Over on Oh No They Didn't, there is a post that mentions Fionna Apple and has pics of her looking bigger than she used to. Most people seem appreciative of her new body type, but a bit of wank emerges.

makeitchemiccal says, "I always thought Fiona apple was kind of slim, why are her arms soo big?"

Many people explain that she used to have an eating disorder, and eventually makeitchemiccal apologizes and says she didn't know. (I totally didn't either.)

agua_de_azucar, however, agrees with the fat comments, and then things get personal between her and twentydollartip. Later, she makes another post which spawns more wank, and in which she is accused of trying to start drama by 8thrank and is called out by likeshesaid.

I'm thinking agua-de-azucar has a problem with fat people, as she also says this in a post that has pics of Kelly Osbourne (and Val Kilmer, my one true love). But that seems odd, since this is listed as her website on her user page. Hmm. Troll? MPD? Denial? I don't know.

If she calls Fiona's current state fat, she has very poor eyesight. Maybe she has issues with her own weight? I don't know, but she is definitely just wanting to stir shit up.

Yes, I read that site from time to time, and every time there is a female celebrity, it seems, people debate on whether or not they are fat (I've yet to see a fat one there). I once saw that same girl call the people from the show Laguna Beach "obese."

She does look a lot better now, but I did notice while watching some of the live videos on the dualdisc version of her new album that a) there are some really unflattering angles on it and b) her arms look lumpy and she should start her upper body training by opening up pickle jars. Very slowly.

The new album has started all sorts of lovely wank. First it was "OHNOES Sony won't release it!" then it was "They're gonna release it but the re-recordings are awful! I'm boycotting!", then it turned into "OMG Zack Galafinakis (who I'm obviously misspelling his name) lipsynchs and dances humorously in the Not About Love video! Fiona's not allowed to have a sense of humor!" and now this.

Miss Fiona brings the wank, always.

She had a decent pop hit (Criminal) on the US charts several years ago, but otherwise, if you don't run in long-haired crooning female singer-songwriter circles, there's no reason you should have heard of her.

Is it just me or does she vaguely resemble an Olsen twin in a couple of pics? In the face, I mean, because she probably weighs as much as both of them put together now. And that's a good thing.

The outfit is vaguely unflattering but I'm so happy Fiona is looking healthy these days. I love her but girlfriend was looking like a crack ho back in the day.

Her arms look like my arms do after almost five months of going to the gym. I'm fatter then her, but not much more, and the fat kinda hides the muscle I've been building on my arms.

And may I say how fucking annoyed I am to see the all-beautiful-women-are-stick-thin sterotype once again? Supper skinny is actually less healthy then being overwieght, so STFU KTHNXBYE.

It's great fun going to that community now that I've finally accepted and come to love my shape. Listening to all these people scream "FAT! OBESE! DISGUSTING! SHOULD BE ON DRUGS AND STARVING SELF!" and then thinking 'hmm... I could really go for some chips. Maybe a burger.' And feeling no guilt about it!

Of course, it does kind of kill my dream of being an actor. But I'll just wait until I'm 40 or so and then slip into the matronly fat lady roles.

Am I the only one that thinks that she still looks rather unhealthily thin? Admittedly she looks a hell of a lot better than before, but to me she still seems more than a little on the too-thin side.

She's beautiful now. I mean, when 'Criminal' and that lot came out, I had this terrible urge to drag her home and feed her up. Some carrot cake, some gnocci- anything to make her look a little less one-foot-in-the-grave.
