APoD Wank that Isn't About Panoramas
So, on the LJ Feed for Astronomy Picture of the Day, today's offering is a unqie way of viewing a solar eclipse -- by holding a strainer up to a T-shirt screen.

There are complaints

Ooo, it's like a little circular grid of eclipses...

That's so cool. @_@

A leafy tree shadowing a sidewalk is awesome, too.

Wow, some people sure take their APOD seriously.

(I guess [info]the_red_shoes would find me lame, too, because I thought it was a pretty clever way of viewing the eclipse.)

Wow, some people really need to just... step back from the keyboard and take a few deep breaths, or something. Also, the little "tl;dr/ts;dr" part made me spitlaugh. The end.

I am well and truly baffled. It's nifty, it's related to astronomy, what's the problem?

I thought it was a nice change. I like the amazing vistas but after a while the blur together. This was cool.

I am so amused by this. I posted on my jf earlier. I know one of the people there and she can always be counted on for wank.

Short insulting replies of the kind that would rile me up if I wrote a thoughtful response. Nothing too memorable, but kinda trollish.

Dude.

This reminds me of when somebody linked to this on wtf_inc over on LJ, and somebody in the comments responded with something like "wtf some people have no lives".

Some people just can't recognize true awesome when they see it. :(
