Nintendo a capella + girlgamers = wank
So in Girl Gamers, (a mod) posts a link to Nintendo Themes done a capella. Many memeber flip their shit, akin to OMG WE'VE SEEN IT! Macros are busted out, even, especially by areadenial.

So the mod, onewinter, deletes the post and then posts to say that everyone needs to SDaSTFU about reposted links and not post with all these "cute little pictures." Comments are disabled, so moonninj4 calls onewinter out and more wank and bitching comes about. Including a discussion on chocolate and more macros.

Personally, everyone should go back to playing Katmari Damacy and shut the hell up. Or failing that, learn to scroll.

I was staring at that one, wondering whether it would get wanky after that initial post. And lo, we have been 'rewarded'.

I did wonder, though, how a mod could have missed all that crap that happened earlier in the year...

I totally love that video. First ran into in at compfused not too long ago, and when they went into the Mortal Kombat music I got up and danced, despite that I was alone in my apartment. It's that great.

It starts with Mario. When the guy has a sword, it's Zelda, and the fighting is Mortal Kombat. you can even hear them say it. But durned if I know what the second musical part is from? It sounds kinda like Dr Mario but not quite

Off-topic: I was disappointed in Dokaka's a cappella rendition of Katamari on the Rocks in the new game. It had so much potential to kick ass, and it was just annoying. It saddened me.

I saw the Tuft Amalgamates (I think that's the right group) perform their videogame stuff live a few years ago. It was cute and decently done, but it was too long.

But, er, the incident involved a troll posting to the katamari_damacy comm on LJ with an uncut odd photoshop of a katamari made of, well, penises. (Or whatever the plural is.) How disturbing. Then the mod pwned it, so all was well once again.
