Looked like Ginmar's usual "RAPE RAPE I BITE YUO SUPPORTER OF RAPE" rant. I don't really know what was going on there - Siriuskajirius said something about how not all people marked as sex offenders deserve it, for whatever reason, and Ginmar goes off on one? I know sexual abuse is hard to be calm about, but I really feel that certain situations call for calmness and rational thinking, rather than going mad and smashing shit up. This is probably why people don't like me :(

Argh, I hate those people's lines of reasoning. 'Oh, yay, a serial killer!' I don't care who he was killing - he was still murdering people. At least the sex offenders' victims are still alive and can eventually get back to a somewhat-normal life. A murder victim is just dead.

Also, I really, really want to punch Ginmar in the head sometimes. Whenever she pops up in a community I'm reading I have to quickly scroll past anything she posts before I get a headache from grinding my teeth.

I can't tell, from the brief news report quoted by tviokh, whether the men killed by Michael Mullen were actually child murderers, or merely two random guys on the sex offenders list (not that I condone what he did, in either case). Anyone?

Y'know, the rampant Ginmar-hate in the wank communities puzzles me. If not for her unpopular opinions on fanfic, I think she'd fit in pretty well in Fandom Wank (and other Journalfen comms), which are full of tough, outspoken and intelligent women.

On the other hand, she has no respect for fandom consenses that don't fit into her ideas about feminism and politics, so maybe it's not so odd. Then again, neither do I... I'm just quieter about it.

That other stuff, about her being a crazy misandrist? Not true. I've been reading her journal regularly for months, and also read a lot of the comments she makes elsewhere. If she hated all men, I think I would've noticed by now.
