Mock the Stupid drama
Credobacchus posts the following to Mock the Stupid:

I used to have this friend. He was decidedly Gothic, bringing every single stereotype to life. He wore only black, swore he was a Satanist, talked about the blackness of his soul all the time.

So one day he comes to me to show me something he says is awesome. He rolls up his sleeve, and I start laughing as he tells me the Devil told him to carve this into his arm as a sign of worship.

It said "Satin".

The usual mocking ensues until Melysni says "Ha ha, even Satan thinks you're gay", and the drama begins. Marvel at her backpedalling! Delight in the way she just doesn’t get it! Gaze in wonder as she breaks jurisimprudence laws! The drama may be small but it has it all, including logic that makes you go 'buh?' Enjoy!

Conversely, in high school, my very silly friend wrote "I love Satan" all over his math book's cover to spite our nasty teacher and the dumb girl at our table said, "Why do you like satin so much?"

As for the wank, I must live under an internet rock, because I've never seen "ghey" written before. It looks like it belongs in the game Balderdash. My made-up definition is: "to stick one's foot in one's mouth and offend others both at the same time."

My sister says it sometimes when mocking her boyfriend, who actually uses "gay" as a pejorative. (He's a nice kid otherwise, so I've allowed him to live thus far. I mock every time he does it though.) She says it like this - "ohMIGAWD, that's, leyke, so geHEY, man."

And then, when asked if that meant she herself was gay, she said her sexuality was a personal matter. Which, yeah, it is, but if you feel that way, don't use it as a basis for your arguments. It very much irks me when internet wankers use try to claim real life street cred, without saying what it is. A feminist message board I used to post on was plagued by this trollish fucknut who insisted that even though we decried his misogyny, his job was so important that we'd be very grateful if he showed up at our houses when we needed him. He would not say what he did for a living, while insisting that this mystery occupation made him better than everyone else. Was he a firefighter? No. A police officer? No. A pizza guy?

I think we finally declared him Ed McMahon, and had done with it.

Also, I think "Even Satan thinks you're gay" was funnier than "Even Satan thinks you're ghey" - I mean Satin! But melysni is just one of the people who are too nice, and wanted to apologize to every flamer personally, and then there was wank.

And yeah, calm down on the word 'gay' please, pc police, when used as a joke by someone who claims to be a lesbian.
