Couple of angry folks at irate cummunity on LJ are not too happy about a recent post on cf_hardcore. specific_chris starts off with this.

It bounced back and fourth for a while, and ended up being a full blown argument between specific_chris and Korrok.

Why the hell do people hate cf_hardcore? Can't you just let them rant away in peace? I'm sick of seeing this stuff. They're not hurting anyone, they basically just flail away amongst themselves! They don't troll anywhere, really, and the only problems they have are people mocking and trolling THEM. I mean seriously. Just leave it alone, it's getting boring.

CFHers doe cause wank. We get annoyed when they use their Moos and crotch dropping terms in other non CF communities. They run back to their club house and call for recruits, more of their friends go to the other communties, bitch and run back to their Community where they hi-five each other.

They bitch because the didn't get to open up the box of Harry Potter books.

They bitch because they see kids in the movie theater...for a kids movie.

They verbally abused and kicked out a woman who was CF but because she was raped and got pregnanant and couldnt afford the abortion.

Leaving aside the horrifying misogynistic implications of that statement, I'm kind of baffled as to how it would work. I'm picturing a bitter little homonculus with a laser gun zapping its mother from inside the womb. Her body vaporizes, and the homonculus falls to the ground, flapping its unformed arms in impotent rage before desiccating like a beached jellyfish.

Guys, I'm VERY SORRY if you don't find my internet very funny or purposeful. I am working on rectifying the rift created between the loving people in cf_hardcore and the people in my own club, irate_community. I've started by asking cf to sit down for a frank discussion to learn exactly why it does what it does, and I think we can all benefit from it.

As far as the "not getting laid" comment up there somewhere, dude that's like down there with "living in my parents' basement", it was really funny like 15 years ago (ironically when my parents actually HAD a basement that I didn't live in), but nowadays you'd be hard pressed to find people outside of the gaming journalism community still enjoying it very much.

To everyone that does find my internet pretty funny, thanks!
