mock_the_stupid reports on a passage in Kim Cattrall's new sex book in which she waxes poetic about standing on the beach where Aphrodite arose from the foam on her Botticellian clamshell 5,000 years ago.
There is question as to how that is mock-worthy right off the bat, with people saying they doubt she meant it literally. Then there is much
discussion about how this would not be mocked if it referred to Jesus. Cue
debate on whether or
not Jesus existed. Wilkinscathj
tries to bring it back on topic, but alas, that is
not to be.
Really,
it's not.
Okay, now I'm just running out of words for links.Who knew Hellenistic Paganism was such a major religion nowadays?
