WiccanWade, WiccanWade, WICCANWADE!
Are you sick and tired of plain-old Wiccans? Do you think you've seen the wierdest the online occult community can offer? Then you need to try the awsome power of WiccanWade!

Now, "unfortunately," many of Wade's greatest hits can only be seen in locked communities. But fear not, for a drop of Wade adds wank to everything around him.

First, we have Wade and the My Little Pony religious ritual. A strange sight that only gets stranger with the P.S. in this message. This leads to the somewhat common sight of The Why Wade's Gone post. Unfortunately, this time with extra homophobia. And the equally common sight of Wade posting from the dead (strangely enough, right after a thread saying how wrong it was to ban him...for once, I agree. But please note the post about how we should accept all for the Ponies accepted all) And Wade is allowed back into the My Little Pony fold.

Also, let's see a quick Wade post where he complains about Christianity in the TV show roar. And here a nice example of the fact that wherever Wade may go, the wank truly does follow. And another example, once again pulling in the "unicorns EXISTED goddammit!" card... (BTW, check out that whole board for some real good wankage...) And, of course, even more on the unicorns/My Little Pony thing.

Now, one of Wade's major tricks is posting the same message again and again. Also, as might have been grokked by his insistance that unicorns were real creatures hunted to extinction, Wade has a rather shaky connection to reality (read that whole thread there.)

Also, we have Wade passes off scare tactics and...you know what? Ouch. I can't deal with this guy anymore. If you want more, try yourself. I assure you, I've missed good stuff. His "Keltic" obsession, for instance, and many things that are funny as HELL but not common enough knowledge (the whole Morrigan thing...). If you belong to WiccaVent, know that he's a common subject, and there are many things which are only for us.

It's really too bad that many of his old posts on the Godsmack and Beliefnet forums have gone down, they were true examples of teh wank...

And, in conclusion, let us pray that the uttering of his name will not summon him hence.

As far as I know it's "White."

But if he ever goes the Magickal Name route, we'll have to point it out to him as an option...

Want to know what I like best?! It's how he punctuates almost every sentence with an exclaimation mark! His keyboard must not have a period key or something!

From the mods message in the Little Pony wank: If he is gay than he don't have to admit it we can pretty much tell form the way he types!

It's hard to tell because her grammar/spelling is so bad but she seems to be claiming she can tell people are gay based on the way they type. Can I get a big hardy "WTF!?"

I know, that's one of the more...bizarre things I've ever seen.

It's not the only time I've ever seen anything like that...I once knew a person who claimed they could tell if someone was male or female, and gay, straight or bisexual, all from how they wrote. There was "feminine" writing, and "masculine" writing and yadda yadda yadda...

But it's...it's gaydar for the computer. And as annoying there as in real life. Also, it sounds like she's saying...what, gay people have bad grammar and use too many exclamation points?

A whole big mess of bizarre...

Well, actually....

I have no comment on the grammar, but the exclamation point thing...yes. If I see a male using THAT many exclamation points, I tend to assume he's gay, myself. Just because I've noticed that is something several of my gay male friends do. I'm not saying every gay guy does that, or even most - plenty of the guys on my friends list don't do that - but it does raise a flag in my brain when I see it. *shrug*

*raises hand* I was once told amidst a flamewar that I had to be a man pretending to be a girl, because I "wrote like a guy" (what that means, I don't know - I didn't giggle and twirl my hair and hit on boys? I'm almost thirty, you silly twit).

Also, the poster said, I had a female screenname, and that proved I was a guy because, he informed us, 99% of the people online with female screennames are guys pretending to be girls.

It was one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen.

But yes, that "writes like a man" bit is puzzling. I chalk it up to a desperate attempt to maintain the status quo - people who naturally stereotype others by looks are uncomfortable when they don't have their usual hallmarks, so they try to stereotype people by what they do have. They probably can't grasp things like people who like to keep their gender private, because that doesn't allow them to whip out the usual gender-role pigeonholes.

And now I'm getting wanky, so I'll stop. Regardless, it happens.

Gee, I'm almost forty. Though I've seen plenty of giggling, hair-twirling and hitting on "boys" by fifty year old women. Ewww....

If I had a nickel for every person in a chat or a message board or mailing list or LJ comment who assumed I was male just by how I "presented myself in text" or "because that sarcastic answer to A/S/L can only be male" I'd be driving three Jaguars. Not to mention that for some reason [info]moonjaguar somehow proves I'm male. Gee, I thought it was not gender indicative. I didn't find out about the Mayan king Iqi Balam (Moon Jaguar) until three years after I registered moonjaguar.com but none of the people claiming I was 'a man' knew of his existence either.

True true, I just meant to sum up just one reason why I don't write like the giggly type the other person seemed to expect. Didn't mean to generalize.

Not a generalization on your part. It happens too far often when people don't fall within some outmoded gender society stereotypes that people will jump up with the "you must be a man!" (sorry, unless one of the legs broke off my XX chromosome pairing, I'm not) or "I hit on you and you turned me down, you fat ugly lesbian!" (what's wrong with being fat, ugly, a lesbian or any combination of the above?)

Can you tell I just revisited a Yahoo! chat I hadn't shown my face on in some time looking for chatters I knew and found nothing but the "Hi 35/m/Schaumburg/blond/blue/6"/nicelooking/engineer. U?"

I blinked when I came to this:

I actually have a shrine (as i'm sure all pony collectors do) around my computer. And I smile and chat with them daily.

That mental image is stunning.

OK, I gotta admit here, my friends tease me about my house being a 'horse shrine'--it's full of hunting prints, posters from big horse shows, photos of me with horses, show ribbons, etc. BUT--my small scale horses are Breyers, which look like the real thing, and I actually ride and train horses, which is why I have all this stuff.

And I for sure don't talk to the Breyer horses. I do have long one-sided conversations with the real ones, though.

... like where he tells us that scientists aren't sure what makes water wet (http://forums.about.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=ab-paganwiccan&msg=1418.25) and that witch only refers to 'Kelts' (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/celticdruids/message/1785) and his hilarious reviews of books (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/cm/member-reviews/-/A2P4QX0W8OOI7G/1/ref=cm_cr_auth/103-7936909-0244619) at Amazon.com. (Because as you know, "The Wiccan Rede should be adopted by *all* practitioners of magick, for only a fool would cast spells that do otherwise then what The Wiccan Rede states.")

There's also the random moralizing & incoherent theology (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/celticdruids/message/2004) and his reactions to being questioned (http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=issuesglbt&msg=223.1).

And... for the *truly* strong-stomached (a google search doesn't go this far back)... brace yourself first...the fetish he'd rather nobody knew about (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/condomfetish/message/394) but didn't have the sense to join the group under a different ID. (He doesn't believe in alternate ID's. Except when he's been kicked off groups, in which case he rejoins as CabotWitch or PiscesMoonChylde.)

See also the standard intro letter about the compassionate eyes of the morrigan (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ReligioRomana/message/5393), here posted to a Roman Recostructionist list who were mildly surprised (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ReligioRomana/message/5393). Same form letter gets posted to most groups he joins.

Yes, its a pity so much discussion is locked in private fora. I was looking for classics like the "Celtic Runes" threads, but they don't show up.

In the year of 2000 pagan lists were subjected to this dear fragile little soul crying out that his requests for prayers posted on the Christian boards of belief net were not being taken seriously, how he had only solitary practice since his parents wouldn't let him practice and claiming he's a gnostic, Druid, Wiccan gay priest. "I'm a Wiccan Shaman Druid" is playing in everyone's ears right about now, isn't it?

Now the year is 2004, and he's "mysteriously" gotten older (seriously - I can't be the only one who remembers he was claiming to be 19 or so back in 2000 and now in 2004, says he's 27). Today Wade is jumping on the now infamous "I'm now a Traditionalist" bandwagon; claiming to agree with Traditionalists of whom he had hereto been screaming against for the last four years as being elitists (because Trads won't initiate him?) snobs.

Kill me now, he's posting again on Witchcraft_and_Magic's yahoogroup.

Ugh...

No dear, you aren't the only one who has noticed the strange discrepancies, we remember Wade quite well since before he went to calling himself a priest of the Morrigan, but slightly before he changed his stance from positive reviews of Silver RavenWolf to detesting her. Although the Pony thing was a shock.

His profile is interesting; 30 married but looking.

Poor little thing, come out and enjoy the real world, Wade.

Wow i had no idea he had his own little section here lol. I was a mod at one point on Wicca for beginners list now defunct. Wiccan Wade was booted on that list for stalking another member. How he found out what lists this gal was on I have no idea but he was on every single one of them. Flamewars erupted because of him. Whatever you believe he believes the opposite. And what he believes in his mind is the truth and your wrong.
Ive seen this guy on far too many lists and on everyone of them he argues with every single person he can manage too and tries to kiss up to the mods to stay on the lists. He also has a thing about copyrights lol
Now im all for copyright rules but he goes further then that and again it becomes a war. Personally IMHO I think he enjoys the chaos he creates on all these lists.
Take it for whats it worth just my two cents.
