Wow...Ginmar has really gone off the deep end this time. She's pretty, well, passionate in general, but this time this is just crazed.

She does seem to have a tendency to show up in people's LJs when they make posts mentioning her, actually. She showed up in mine a couple of months after I made a post about one of her posts, and ended up responding angrily to someone who wasn't even intending to insult her, ironically, and ignoring the other people who were much more negative about her. I wanted to know how she found my post (cause I'm just curious about these things and LJ doesn't allow trackers), but she wouldn't tell me.

	I also wonder if she might do vanity searches. There's an option that lets you reject robots that would otherwise index your journal for some search engines, and if the entry gets linked into Google or somewhere, a search of "ginmar" might pull up the entry. 	I know ppl who do that and it's a bit...well...sad. (just to me tho...) I only did it once and was surprised at the results (nothing bad...in fact, outside of my own website, nothing at all LOL). Actually, it's rather useful if you're writing fic, because you'd be surprised how many people rec you but don't feel the need to leave you feedback, or perhaps just consider the reccing to be a form of feedback. (I don't complain, because that would be stupid, but nevertheless there'd be a number of positive comments on my stuff I'd never have heard if I didn't work the Google.)

Wanting to know what people are saying about you in a public forum--which any of the internet not specifically protected by something like a password or a flock essentially is--isn't 'sad'; to a certain degree it's just reasonable sense.

Going and flaming the hell out of them for saying it... is less sense. (And going and flaming the hell out of them for saying it and being virgins is someplace where sense is no longer even on the map.)

	I've used that to search for fanfics and stuff, but for someone with a blog as popular as hers, she must have gone to the hundredth page to get something that far back that only mentions her name a few times. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

I already banned her preemptively after she went off on charmian because, well, one degree of separation means that her going off on me because of something I've said (although that's unlikely, as I don't think she's into Regency romance, FMA, or crap with space navies.)
