VCL_Horrors is a community sporking bad art on the VCL(a largely NSFW furry art host), and a bit of a dramagnet. Kkatman is an artist of dubious gender who writes somewhat pretentious comics, which are often sporked. It is suspected that she writes them as responses to VCL_H crits of her work. Her latest masterwork is posted. The bunny is her boyfriend. Kkatman's infamous for drawing bad torture porn. And using ugly fonts. And recycling the same frames over and over and over. The sporker, fox_silverwing, includes this commentary 1.Websters defines wrong as.. “something wrong, immoral, or unethical; especially : principles, practices, or conduct contrary to justice, goodness, equity, or law” Who comes up with the concepts of morality, ethics, principles, justice, goodness, and law? ... The majority of a society. ....? I don't get what point she's making with this? 2. Thick skins have nothing to do with heart and or soul. .. if anything, a thick skin would protect the heart and or soul : ). Hence, thick skin. 3. We’d be at VCL. And, Hum. Art does have to appeal to the 51% or more, if you want to sell it, quickly and in any volume. You can call it selling out if you want. 4. Lawl, No, who the fuck are you? .... Based on some kind of actual conversation, or is this more Horrors trolling?
Seriously, I rather liked your Gnollie by the way. And yes, I don’t have anything better to do at 7:22 am. Feel free to make fun of me for this : ). I look at the comment count. Over 140. Kkatman...high comment count for the comm...Ctrl+T, Journalfen, Update.bml. Roofiekids opens with "I find the comic funny because it's acting like it's defending art, when it's just defending stupid torture porn. There tends to be a difference." darkwolfie: I think the artist was trying to make a point about yielding to peer pressure and drawing only what the majority of people would feel most comfortable viewing, and that the controversial or erotic or pornographic shouldn't be breached lest it goes against the majority view.
And who makes the distinction between what is art and what is not? If you don't like the concept or the execution, does that give you the right to complain and moan because it may have bruised your sensibilities or doesn't fit into your own personal definitions of 'art' or 'good'or 'moral'? And who's to say what should and shouldn't be drawn or written or sung? And they're off.darkwolfie gets the replies in one thread frozen pretty quickly. mapdark uses too many periods. darkwolfie mentions open minds. Roofie calls DW a hypocrite. zeis_montero calls for bans! I love bans! Bans for everyone! Ja_ren (who pretty much does nothing in the comm except complain about how the stuff posted isn't horrors, has never, in recent memory, actually made a post to the comm, and is basically it's go-to wanker) conveiniently misinterprets a statement, as does skaithkatt. torrid_reality calls Kkatman. celtic_tiger snarks. raygirlroi is amused by the drama.
