	I just hate the hyphen in my new URL, and think that those of us with underscores in the middle of our names should get rename tokens, too. What's the big deal about voice posts? Are people unable to access their LJs except through voice posts? Will they make 20 less entries per month because of their inability to access that feature? As well, they're just throwing that in as a bonus. They *had* to make a security change, but they didn't *have* to give paid users anything. Well. ...I suppose this would bother me more if I could actually arse myself to login to LJ these days, though the fix is certainly appreciable. The level of indignation displayed by some of the paid users is amusing. I really like kingfox's outrage that people actually don't pay to use free LJ services. So cute. And of course, elusis and others can't be arsed to make a few extra keystrokes to view their friends' LJ pages. I think user poonarific deserves internet cookies for this little nugget of humour. Oy vey... I have a paid account only because- one, I like the extra icons and two, I like tooling around with my LJ layout. I couldn't give a crap less about phone posts, picture hosting, or than pointless 'nudge' feature. My question is when LJ going to get off their thumbs and create a system where you have to approve someone before they can list you as a 'friend'? The only thing that is going to annoy me about this is that I credit icons in keywords instead of comments, so all the icons I nabbed from someone calling hirself "____supacool____", I'm going to have to retag. Or fuck it, don't rename tokens redirect? Maybe I won't bother. And I see elusis's point about the typing in of URLs, but - dude, LJ is blocking a security breach here. Suck it up. And of course the irritation of possibly retagging icons and of changing how I browse is vastly paid off by the mountains of splooge just waiting to happen once all those _______x____emo____x kids find out about this. I suppose I'm just far too apathetic to truly understand, but for me it boils down to a simple test: - Do I have to pay to get the LJ features I want? If yes, and I can afford to pay, I pay. If no, then I don't. I didn't sign up to get voice posting, nor did I sign up for a subdomain. I don't care about more of one nor do I care if everyone gets the other. A major security flaw is fixed.
