The_Faery_Queen patrolls our fantasies
Itty bitty asexuality wank which, once again, has nothing to do with asexualty. And once again, it's all about the_faery_queen.

if he wants to be raped, then no, i guess it is less dodgy BUT i would personally find it a bit insulting, to want to be hurt and humilated, insulting in that, lots of people suffer this, it fucks them up for life. and i just find it a bit off when people WANT to have this done to them, or want to do it to other people even in a consentual situation

and i do get that people want it because of power issues, to give up power to someone they love, or to have power over someone they love, and rape is power, afte rall. but it, like bondage, never sits that well with me because i can never get beyond teh fact people really do suffer this (rape, slavery, etc) and i just find it unsettling that people want to do this, and that they find it fun.

i think most people would be open minded enough to say, thats your opinion and you;re allowed to have it. as long as people say, i think this, i feel this, not THIS IS THIS, as a fact, then people have no right to complain. and denying peole the right to believe what they want is also a step towards discrimination.

Translation, please?

Unfortunately mass baleetion happened before I got to it, but half of the conversation remains. Small and probably not getting any bigger, but funny.

I think ballykissinger meant to write that in the "music" box, instead of the title box, but I could be wrong.

The whole idea of "BDSM is 100% consentual, therefore not actual rape or torture" fries her little mind that much? I wonder if she knows that vanilla extract is 70 proof...

Ah, but remember that Inugrrl taught us? Non-consentual sex IS NOT rape.

Vanilla extract is 70 proof? Damn, I should hit that shit.

And I was just about to post on my LJ, "Hey! If you put enough vanilla extract in with the warm milk and honey, it tastes like alcohol!" I knew there was a reason I loved that stuff so much.

But what are [info]the_faery_queen's thoughts about Bungee jumpers, their unhealthy wish to crush their bodies by hitting a solid surface and about their making light of people who get pushed out of windows?

Or what about people who keep kittens as pets? When they know it just mocks those living in countries where the kitten dictatorship terrorizes the population by forcing everyone to watch Swing Kids until they throw up.

These are real issues.

You know, when you have a relatively obscure sexuality(namely, none) that gets a lot of shit like, "Oh, but you just need the right guy to come along," I'd think you'd be open to other people's ways of doing things.

Why do I continue to believe that people should naturally realize their blinding hypocrisy? Is there some medication I can take for this?

You'd think so. I like to think I'm pretty open-minded about what consenting adults do, even though I may wrinkle my nose, but I still find myself getting judgemental about certain practices. It's my experience that in every alternative sexuality are people who are ready to persecute other people for doing things differently.

Yeah. I used to be a judgemental twat, but then I grew up and realized that a teenage virgin with no romantic life has no place judging what consenting adults do.

I mean, I certainly don't find BSDM attractive, but if heaps of consenting couples enjoy, okay, fine. Have fun.

It's sorta the same with marginalized fandoms. You've got all these fandoms which the mainstream look down upon putting each other down. The worst I've seen has to be Sandman/Discworld. "comics suck!" "comedic fantasy sucks!"

I of course, only look down on fandoms which should be, like Charmed or Power Rangers. ;-P

I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck is going on in the OP before I even tackle the faery trainwreck. So someone can be homosexual and asexual at the same time? Does the term just mean a lack of sexual activity or an actual lack of attraction and therefore sexuality?

Nevermind the asshattery that is rape fantasies = neurosis.

*sighs happily* Ah, yes... The_Faerie_Queen wank is back in season. Ranting, bitching, borderline illiteracy, overuse of the "It's just my opinion!" card, and at least one half-good point that immediately gets buried in TFQ's charming online persona. We even have a "People just don't UNDERSTAND me" post! (Does she still write those out individually, or does she have a stock of them that she rotates weekly?) Did she mention her forthcoming book in the deleted posts? If she did, we may have bingo!
