Childfree wank that doesn't directly involve childfree - who'd've thought?
In the debate LJ community, zippo138 makes an astonishing breakthrough argument that being childfree equates to being a child molester, as both the childfree and the child molester share certain things in common, like a love for video games and anime.

Watch as various childfree members come in and attempt to educate zippo138 on what it means to be child free, including the definition of "childfree".

Items of note.

Sigmund Freud is basically dismissed as bunk in any psychology debate.
"You're right; I wouldn't want to be in or around children either."
Xelopid makes the equasion that childfree = whiny bastard.
Breeding is the pinnacle of achievement.
Someone compares being childfree to being shitfree. (Very amusing in its own right.)

And of course, the OP tries to argue his point that he's not making an A = B = C argument by agreeing with those that say he is. (love it.)


Amazing what you can get by just observing one LJ community for an hour or two eh? Anthropologists will be pleased to know that LJ is the microcosm that reflects upon the rest of the humanity macrocosm no?

I can't even get past the OP. Is there any logic in it at all, or is it just me? Not even from a CF kind of standpoint, I mean literally. Logic? You could say the same halfassed statement about anything.

I don't say that they equate. They do not, one group has an irrational hate the other an irrational love, but they both share very similar habits after that main contradiction. It's that similarity that I an debating, and find interesting. I make no assumption that child haters are a real threat to children.

The point that is up for debate is not that some child molesters and some people who hate children have similar traits. The point that you are attempting to argue is that "child free types" who enjoy what you consider "childish" activities are a potential danger to children. This is about as logical as saying that "Scotsmen and Catholic schoolgirls both wear plaid skirts, so you probably shouldn't have your sheep farm next to the Catholic girls' school."

The fact that you "find them interesting" is not a debate. Where's the actual question here, or the thing to be debated? Why should we give a damn what some random illiterate finds interesting?

After paging through the comments on the debate comm I can only imagine that you're amazingly stupid and can't keep track of what you've said, let alone understand that your statement is based on random scraps of nothing and makes absolutely no logical sense.

I'm not a member of childfree OR debate, just a regular human being who can read. But watching you get smacked around on the debate comm was kind of fun for a while.

People act like you would have to get a restraining order to keep a childfree person away from the kids, when truthfully it would be more the opposite. Some childfree would happily have a "no kids" area around them. Childfree force field? Someone could make a fortune. ;-)

Just because someone doesn't want kids, or even if they do dislike them, it doesn't mean that they wish them harm. There are many posts in childfree that are along the lines of "Look at this headline! Can you believe someone would do that to a child?" But we're the threat.

BTW, just to clarify before we get into any nasty territory, I'm just of the "would prefer not to be around kids, and babies make me nervous" variety of childfreers.

Hi just wanted to let you kids in on the real deal behind this debate. It was created with the intent of drawing out, and whipping the people in live journal community of childfree to a frenzy. It has proven to be incredibly effective, in fact even after admitting to the fallacy of the entire debate topic at least 5 or 6 times all over the post, they still are coming to try and flame me. The post is at 465 replies, and counting, go figure. The child-free types have proven themselves to be as easy a mark as the pro-choice set. To those who took this seriously, what does being the fish feel like?
