bad_spellers_suck_more!
kazumitsu posts her tale of woe in bad_rpers_suck.

Unfortunately, it's laden with more typos than a Mary Sue has extra-special abilities.

And the crowd goes wild.

kazumitsu immediately calls shenanigans dyslexia, but the real wank doesn't start until razielfan plunges in to defend her little buddy with the Scimitar of Condescension +5.

I think he's too pretentious intellectual to concern himself with lesser creatures like puppies. Perhaps they pissed on his inflated self-image Cheerios.

If a chimpanzee happens to reproduce the works of William Shakespeare while hammering on a keyboard I am under no obligation to respect its 'accomplishment' as said chimp is not, in fact, Shakespeare.

Respect the goddamned chimp, bitch. It accomplished more accidentally than you ever will on purpose.

Respect the fucking ape. That's all I'm saying.

Are there really?

I buy that she has dyslexia; her mistakes follow the phonetic and structural troubles dyslexics tend to have...unlike most of the people who use it as an excuse. Still, all the other dyslexics on the internet are like "bitch, get out of my disorder."

It gives me a warm glow inside that [info]razielfan gets such satisfaction out of someone making a typo in the thread when she herself thinks "privilege" has two ds.

I'm horrid with the typos, but I think there are only two sins which require eternal damnation: "priviledge" and "consentsual". WTF with the extra silent letters, internet?

crazydragon33 attempts a noble tale of storytelling.

I know Kaz. She meant no disrespect by posting what she had posted and effort was made. Fate is not so kind to many people. The both of us have abilaties we take for granted where another person has to live without. The full story is not mine to tell for it is not my place.

Neither is the Magick Spellchock of Doom yours to take, knave! Thou mayt leave only with one: Your Arghhhhupants or your inability to proofread!

Is there truly so many out there, whom have so poor and lackluster lives that they must spend their free time running about hurting another person's feelings over a few misspelled words?

Running is for weenies. Some of us prefer to be couch commandos, or zip around in kevlar-padded Snarks.

I don't know much about dyslexia, but as far as I can tell in this person's case she's claiming that she can't look at the words she's written and tell if she's spelled them wrong. If that's true, it's ridiculous to expect perfection, but I know I could type an entry blindfolded and end up with something more legible than what she managed to come up with.

And her prejudice against spellcheckers makes me die a little inside.

Really? I have no difficulty reading Kaz's posts, dear.

*cough*bullshit*cough*

That was eye-bleedingly bad. I know there's a jurisimprudence law about Asberger's - is there one about dyslexia? I mean, her post didn't come off as someone with dyslexia who was trying to be understood - it was someone who was going "I have dyslexia, spell-check is frustrating, so fuck it, I'm not even going to make sure I capitalize my damn I's."

And btw, when did "grammar whore" become a BAD thing? People roll their eyes and go "so what, it's the internet" because clearly, if they care enough to spend several hours a day logged on writing fic and debating ships and trolling enemies, they don't need to spend the extra ten seconds on a motherfucking spellcheck. Speyling liek thes deserves to be mocked.
