Yeah. While doing a report on 'Why we should continue to learn about the Holocaust in school,' I came across Denying history : who says the Holocaust never happened and why do they say it?. Along with outlying anti-semitic groups and people, they mentioned one Jew (I think he was a public figure of some sort, but I can't remember) who didn't believe the Holocaust happened either. Under their definition of Holocaust denial, the authors list 'denial of the eleven million deaths' and 'denial of intent of genocide' - and these two, I believe, were what the guy fell under. The authors also added that he wasn't the only one to feel this way (I'm not sure if they specified the Jewish community or not); some people, with no anti-semitism or pro-Nazism feelings whatsoever, believe that the Holocaust did not happen or did not happen to the extent that is reported simply because they can't handle the idea that humanity could be so evil. That's paraphrasing their hypothesis, however.

And I thought we were still at eleven million deaths. When did we switch to eight million?

Except that was, you know, why he got into power. One of those things about 'take over the world' is that right under it is 'kill anyone who gets in my way.' If the Holocaust hadn't happened, he would have still been responsible for starting WWII and all the deaths that came from that. Not to mention royally fucking over his fellow Germans for a good long time.

In summary, people are stupid.

Word. I prefer my uniforms a bit older, preferably with more frou-frou (mm, blue navy uniforms) and not quite so easily identified as "sick fucks who killed millions". It's easier with bright things that look like it was invented by an anime
