Religion Wank - Hey, At Least It's Not Racism!
Over in the generally polite and useful DarkChristian community, for discussion of dominionist Christian sects and their political moves,

usafpa is curious how one can find a church without running into dominionists and otherwise hateful congregations. Some intelligent suggestions are broached, and some discussion occurs.

Then

evil_genius suggests the poster become an atheist, because "all religion is illogical brainwashing." Predictably, several religious people are a bit put out by this statement.

this reminds me of an argument my friend was just in.

She was trying to set this very militant and angry atheist straight on Christianity, and he, in the same breath, claimed to be tolerant and open-minded and said it was totally correct of him to say that all Christians are hypocritical and self-righteous. When she called him on it, he didn't seem to see the problem in his condemnation.

I also love when he quotes the userinfo, seemingly ignoring the part where it says no flaming/bashing, and then claims that telling someone to become an atheist because all religion is illogical is totally still respecting their belief.
