And are you implying that all NTs love to put others down? IRL, the only other Aspie I grew up with is the nasty one among my friends. He's the one that has issues with insulting people for no reason, NOT my NT friends. I know plenty of NT people who try not to put people down. Being a nasty person is not an NT-specific trait.
If nothing else, I wouldn't expect much sympathy from GAFFers, not even from the fairly evident Aspie population here. This is not a 'let's all feel good about ourselves and comfort eachother!' board. This is a board devoted to hunting down God-awful things and making fun of them. I don't know about you, but I don't expect to be told 'there, there' by people who come to a board for the sole purpose of making fun of things.

Today I was riding the bus to work, and I shit my pants. I was just standing there clutching the rail when I felt the old gurgling in my belly, and suddenly my ass went Hiroshima. I have a weaker sphincter muscle than most because I've been fucked with a bobbly strap-on dildo in the pooper so many times. Anyhow, it was obviouc straight away what I'd done. The smell was pretty phenomonal and the girls sitting around me looked pretty grossed out - except for this one goth chick, looked sort of impressed. So I stood there on the bus with shit dripping down the legs of my trousers to pool on the floor (it was a pretty fluid shit, closer to diarreah. I'm not sure why - I've been getting plenty of roughage). Anyway, being English nobody said anything at all and when the bus reached my stop I got off, trailing shit along the floor.

Hypocrisy is most definitely thought of as a bad thing here. And board members go after it when they think they find it.

You know what that post says to me, in the context of your history here? You saw someone in pain -- a kind of pain you know very well, probably from experience -- and you used your intimate knowledge of that kind of suffering to find the best place to stick a knife in and twist, for no better reason than petty sadism. It feels good to be the bully instead of the victim, doesn't it?
