Oh Amazon. You always know how to brighten my day. I went searching for the DSM-IV Manual for Psychology. Nothing bad there! Seems harmless, its just a regular book for Psychology majors, right?
Well, reviewers think differently.
Important bits bolded. Because bold means serious business. ♥
The DSM-IV is a political document, invented by committee vote and general vote of the American Psychiatric Association. It includes such phony 'disorders' as inability to do math, or inability to read. Only a profession largely made up of criminals ( they do electric shock and Lobotomies for heaven's sake!) would use this obviously non-scientific self-serving 'manual'. Psychiatrists creates myriad phony illnesses to justify their constant destruction of innocent people with heavy drugs, electric shocks, insulin shocks, other shocks and destructive brain operations. The DSM-IV is the vehicle for this criminal fraud.
Whether or not a person has to be locked up in a mental institution depends on the words and puncuation cited from the DSM IV TR. This manual denies humanity as it seeks to demand all people adhere to the set of social norms advocated by the authors of the DSM. That God's instructions for humanity are tethered to the cowardly responses to a wealth of human behavior someone has deemed, "Unacceptable". How arrogant! If you are religous, then ask yourself why God never thought of "diversity". Again, it is simply the American Psychatric Associations capitulation to the current governors of PROPER BEHAVIOR to dismiss choice in favor of blind loyalty to the current leadership. If a person gets stuck with any of the many labels found haphazardly strewn about in the DSM, that person is unpeopled as no longer will they enjoy the Constitutional rights gaurenteed to all Americans. The police won't even take a report of a crime from a person who suffers from Depression dismissing the assault/theft/blood, as the product of a delusion - nothing more. Of course, psychiatry will prop the opinion of the police, because police are never wrong. Right? Psychiatrists are afraid to challenge any authority figure for anything. How many people are locked up in the United States for questioning authority? Very many I believe. Let's stop the madness, and put our sensitivity chip back in our brain, and enjoy the diversity and novelty of harmless people.
It is true that the American Psychiatric Association merely votes these "disorders" into the DSM. Would you call that science? Voting for politicians is not the same thing as voting for whether something is a disease. (In any case, look at where political voting has gotten us.) Science establishes TRUTHS. The proper use of science would eradicate OPINIONS about the cause of a disorder and establish TRUTH. Voting is, by definition, a tool for establishing OPINIONS. It's not science. The DSM is therefore invalid. It stands ONLY upon opinion. You wouldn't vote about the cause of polio. You'd use science to establish its cause and eradicate it. If your science was accurate, polio rates would drop dramatically if not vanish. But the DSM just gets bigger and bigger and we now apparently have to screen every person in America because mental health is supposedly going downhill. Is it really? (Orly?) Or do all these opinions just make it look like it is by voting into existence new disorders. If it is indeed going downhill, how come all this "science" hasn't resulted in less mental health "disease" and not more. I'll tell you why, because it's not based on science. It's based on voting and opinions.
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM)--the psychiatrists' reference on what diseases are out there and what drugs are used to treat them -- is complete fiction. Psychiatric "diseases" are VOTED into existence by a panel of about 1000 members of the "Mental Health Industry", and when these "diseases" win the vote and are included in the next edition of the DSM, they become by that fact "real". I would suggest that any person about to have a diagnosis rendered upon them through the use of DSM IV and who is concerned about their rights to disagree should contact attorney Skip Simpson of Dallas, Texas.
Tiny, yes. No verbal back and forth, yes. But I think calling all psychologists criminals just seems to give it a special touch. I didn't know this book was kind of controversial. Lawyers make everything better, though. Oh yes.
