So there's a big racism wank in brutal_honesty. It starts when the OP (with a NSFW hypnoicon) says that minorities can't be racist, because racism requires power. Several dozen people go "Buh?"

Among the comments is this gem. Please, won't someone think of the yuppies? I am not a troll! I am a man! You suck, and your definiton sucks, and your education sucks. Asians are a majority. I'm only linking this for the icon. And I'm only linking this for the analogy.

There's a spillover wannabe wank in stupid_free, which is where I got the link from. Someone even mentions that feminist post. Just for fun, I also checked Wikipedia.
Racism refers to a belief system that advocates discriminating against people based on a perceived or ascribed "race".

By definition one who practices racism is known as a racist which is not the same as racial prejudice.

Racism can more narrowly refer to a system of oppression, such as institutional racism that is based on ideas that one race is superior to other races. Organizations and institutions that practice racism discriminate against and marginalize a class of people who share a common racial designation. The term "racism" is usefully applied to the dominant group in a society, because it is that group which has the means to oppress others.

EDIT: Dupe. Crap.
