Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing...
A few days ago, y!gallery, the yaoi/male art only gallery, was deactivated for lack of bandwitdh. The announced return date was April 1st. You can probably guess where this is headed.

For April Fool's day (I assume), the y!gallery admin posts a news saying it has been bought by deviantART.

Many of the users proceed to utterly shit themselves in rage, despite other's calls to stay calm and check the date.

All in all, a good time is not had by all.

EDIT: It was indeed an April Fools' joke. The site is now back to normal. People are freaking out EVEN MORE.

God, this is fabulous *wipes tear*

EDIT 2: MDY, one of the supermoderators, makes a news post to ask people to stop flaming the mods already and stop spreading the rumour that the hoax was done to scam people out of their money. PeopleSTILL FREAK OUT demanding the apologies that they think they are due.

Some people just never get jokes, I suppose.

Is there a law when someone compares a prank on the 'net to a hospital calling to say their grandmother is dead?
