Some people totally miss the humor...
Very small, but worth the humor, if you ask me (though the real humor is the original post that started all the wank.)

Over at LiveJournal Jay (Shmivejournal) posted a hilarious parody involving baking a cake with Cadbury creme eggs instead of real eggs

People at Fark were Not. Amused. And also totally missed the point. Apparently they thought Jay was being serious (instead of just doing it to amuse his friends on LJ) in attempting to bake a cake with Cadbury creme eggs instead of real eggs.

Notice that a few people tried to tell them at Fark that it was JUST A **BLEEP**ING JOKE!!1! but sadly those voices of reason were ignored.

Ah, fresh OTF wank.... tastes like ass!

Looking for wank at Fark is like fishing for turds in an outhouse pit (*cough* http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=2008203 *cough*) but this one is particularly amusing.

I wonder why I stopped posting there...

Ha ha ha! Using a Creme Egg instead of real ones is something my roommate might do... only she would seriously wonder why it didn't work.

Cake mix? Check.
Cadburry eggs? Check.
Ability to eat freaky deformed food? Check.

I'll be in the kitchen, guys!

Is there any earthly way to miss that this is a humor piece?

...Yes. Yes, I guess there is.

In other news, the original article made me giggle like a deranged hyena. The only thing that would have added to it is if he decorated the cake with jousting Peeps.

Damn. They care... so much. How? I mean, I have trouble caring about my actual job, never mind the ingredients of choice for total stranger's putative baking exploits. The energy they must have. O_o;;

Later I tried to ice the cake, but it had some serious structural integrity issues and little cake pieces kept coming off onto the knife.

I love it when people use words like "structural integrity issues" to describe baked goods, mainly because I did just that about the ill-fated construction of a gingerbread house-of-ill-repute last Christmas.

Cadbury egg cake! That's actually a great idea for a seasonal product. We already sell 7-up cake and Snickers cakes, so a cake with Cadbury creme eggs as an ingredient and mini-eggs as decorations would ROCK.

Waste of perfectly good Cream Eggs.

Hee hee! OMG "perfectly good Cream Eggs". Stop, FARK, you're going to make me wet myself laughing!

I mean, nobody could describe those Cadbury eggs as "perfectly good" and be serious about it, right? Right?

...Right?
