Roger Clyne and the Wankmakers
Don't get me wrong, but I really do love Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. I just hate their fans. It's like Jesus, in a way.

Recently, I've been lurking the band's message board. I can give you a dozen examples of little wankers, but none of them are nearly as epic as this:

Mexican Acts of War.

Which doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary of general Mexico bashing, etc, until you account for the fact that the band has a huge show in Mexico 2 weekends a year, attended by thousands of fans. And about half their songs are about Mexico, and everything's sprinkled with Mexican culture and Spanish language.

Having been to their Mexico show, I can tell you it's basically a bunch of old fat yuppies tearing through the dunes in their hummers and ATVs, throwing their garbage all over the place, getting sloshed on every corner of every street, and bitching about the locals. Yet these people are the same people who want Mexico bombed back into the stone age, apparently.

Irony, much? I can barely squeak past the first page. But with help, I have managed to compile some highlights:



-As someone who lived in Fargo for 40 years I can tell you exactly where Fargo's immigration problems are...I saw it personally for a long long time

-This President is sending good ole' American children to the slaughterhouse like the children were Jews and this administration were the Nazi's

-I woudn't rule out airstrikes on Mexico City. The Mexican govt has to get the message.

-It would be nice to get control of the border and keep the goddam Mexicans from stealing all our cars.

-And you know what's funny?

To put it another way, George W Bush is a LIBERAL. As in both a big-government, "compassionate" modern liberal, and a "Freedom for all peoples," sounding like Democrats like John F Kennedy and Woodrow Wilson liberal.

To have the Democrats call HIM, of all people, "far right wing," well, that amounts to a confession of exactly how far LEFT wing they've become



Now, generously sprinkle with references to genocide, big business, and The War on Drugs/Terrorism/WMD/Canada and you get the picture
