April 12th; A video is posted on YouTube. Basically, it states(NSFW) that gay pride parades are hurting gay rights by beating moderates over the head with their homosexuality, and providing ammo for fundies. For over six minutes. And yes, oh yes, there is a shot of someone in backless leather chaps. Lo, check out the comments, for there is wank.
Back on LJ, cargoweasel posts a link, and almost entirely misses the point. And—this is a first people—the gay rights movement is compared to furries' struggle for acceptance you can't make this stuff up. Your fur and mine,triggur, posts it in his blog, since he made it. And they're off. And kynn)?) weighs in. ZOMG BANNED And you don't want to see how queer_rage reacted. Almost everyone opposing seems to think that the video is saying gays should be drab. And the word "closeted" is abused more than David Guest, which is ironic, considering that the narrator admitted he was gay about halfway through.
Please, no furbashing.
