The Ongoing Saga of the Boob Nazis
So we've all noticed the Boob Nazi wank trend going on lately. Well today, the Boob Nazis FINALLY take on...the CFers! Dun-dun-DUNNN.

As some of you know, the Boob Nazis have decided to delete their LJs for one day over the breastfeeding icon wank. Well, the CFers found out about this, and decided to stage a "counter protest." They plan to update all their journals and make comments for every journal they see deleted on their f-list.

Well, the Boob Nazis found out about it.

That's not all! The CFers found out about the Boob Nazis finding out!

Not the reglious wankalypse I had been hoping to see, but it's a fairly good substitute.

ETA: Some of the non-deleters give us their thoughts on yaoi the wank. Meanwhile, the boob_nazis community mod is pissed about the deletions!

ETA 2: Oh snap! Here's a huge wanking over on booju_mooju!

I got the impression that they have weighed exactly how many people they'd piss off by allowing areolas in icons and how many people they'd placate by not allowing them. We're the lesser. Doug said, "you could win the battle but lose the war." If we won and got what we wanted and SA laid down the law, all the people who ARE unhappy might leave..and there might not be an LJ.

And here I thought that the only people who cared about breastfeeding in icons was the breastfeeders. I must not spend enough time on LJ though, because I missed the mass exodus by all the users scandalized by seeing teh boobiez.

Gah, her. Once in a while she says something I agree with but that seems to be a rare occurrence.

Granted I only see her and her icon when it's associated with a wank, but I don't think I'm seeing her on a bad day on those occasions.

A thing I do not get:
What do we want? ... 2. Make clear that SixApart supports breastfeeding;

Why? I mean... why do they need to? I don't understand why their having an official stance on breastfeeding is important.

Because it validates the existance of all the people on LJ who breastfeed -- because, really, that's what's important to them. Not feeding their kids, but making sure everybody knows that they're feeding their kids in the One Right and True Correct Way!

*yeesh* This kinda crap is stupid enough when it's about magical teenagers or transforming robots...

Molly so breastfed. Tonks however is TOTALLY a fomula user. So is Fleur. No doubt, she'll get pregnant RIGHT after the wedding and she and Molly will spent the rest of the book fighting about breast feeding vs formula.

And for the record, there are thousands of us out here who really don't want to see a picture of a boob getting chewed by a baby. I didn't inflict feeding my son on people in real, why should you guys inflict it on people who use the internet?

Any idea why yonmei's been suspended? She was the only one I could think of who announced she was taking part in the boobie blackout. Were there any other boobie blackout participants whose LJs were suspended?
