Cute Overload wank...and it's not even over animals!
Theo, one of the admins at Cute Overload recently celebrated his anniversary by visiting a B&B that has some resident cats. Upon his return, he posts pictures and commentary about the B&B, along with pics of said cats. Comments range from the congratulatory, to the silly, and Jaye (Theo's sweetie) posts links to similar animal-themed lodgings.
HR is angry because this post does not contain the expected level of cute. CO regulars pretty much take this in stride, telling HR to chill out and maybe go on a romantic trip of his/her own. Mariser recognizes that HR is probably a troll, but makes an effort to explain why regulars are interested in Theo's trip.
HR just won't go away, and takes this opportunity to complain that teh internets are making everyone think their boring lives are interesting!!111! Alice calls HR a "grumpyface", and others pipe up with "no one's forcing you to read it."
HR is now angry that she has to read at all because reading is teh hard and she wants cuteness! She admits that she never actually "reads" the site, and then kindly permits everyone to share personal info as long as it's kept off the main page. And good lord, she's a NY'er (yeah, cause people don't already think we're rude).
The wank continues, with HR going off on some sort of philosophical tangent that I don't really understand, and bemoaning the fact that OMGZ no one is even listening to what I'm saying!!!11! With that, HR appears to take her toys home, but lucky for us KG chimes in with a belated "I agree with HR".
Suddenly, others pipe up with "too much text, not enough cute," including people named CB and KB (hrm...has HR decided to just post many times using different letters?).
ETA: Damn...they went and deleted it. Oh well, the "baby bites kitten" wank is still going strong.
