Racial Identity + Media Perceptions = WANK!

Over at interracial, miyaunna x-posts a topic from </v:imagedata></v:shape></a>blackfolk</span></span> (or rather, unlinked excerpts from this topic), regarding the media's mentioning of the "multi-racial good looks" of new R&B singer Cassie.  Apparently, she was bemused by many users taking issue with the emphasis of Cassie's mixed heritage and wanted the comm's view on the perceptions of "bi-racial = Automatically Beautiful".
