Anime girls; serious buisness.
Famous-on-dA photographer posts a tl;dr journal about how sexy anime-style is evil. Among his points is that the character in the image sporker, by artist Teruchan, is wearing pink. No, seriously. Artist Neolucky cries opression. I track down her comments on the post. And you'd better believe someone's bustin' out the big words. Twice. And this is serious business.

Some guy doesn't realize that most anime work on dA, including the critqued piece, is digital. Some guy misses the entire point of drawing anime-style work. Cuz anime is teh s ick. Nudity = sex. Japan=X-TREME FETISHES! Oh, and coxi specifically used popular material to get a rise out of people. Lollipop=cock. And, finally, the smackdown. What are your thoughts on hentai? Cartoons are for kids. And coxi even attacks people agreeing with him.

It's pretty much impossible to read the comments without finding wank.
EDIT: Coxi has been banned. OH SNAP. The comments should still be working, however.

Well, I think it all depends on whether you're more bothered by poop or jiz in the eye. I personally am slightly more bothered by poop, but you may like poop and may be bothered by the image of an asian woman with jiz in her eye... It's all a matter of taste and perspective.

At the risk of starting more wank (uh-oh), the Hive has the right to be spitting mad about objectivizing women in AMERICAN comics (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/956590.html). On the other hand, objectivizing women in ANIME art, apparently by most of the comments on this post, is okay, and shouldn't be mocked or pointed out -- the original poster of this critique is being ridiculous.

Color me confused. Not a mock on the original poster of the wank - who was just pointing out its existance, so much as the seeming flip-flop within the comments on this wank compared to the comments on the other wank.
