Slashdot features an article about the Dutch ads for the new PSP in white and wether they are racist.

Lots of mature and civilised discussion commences, most which can be summarized with "Is not!" "Is too!" and "Nyahnyahbrrrft."

The ads can be seen here.

They're not that bad if you see them all together. The problem is, the only one people were seeing on the other wank entry (clairvoyant wank? I can't remember) was the one where the white woman is gripping the black woman's face. If you don't know there are other images where the power balance is flipped... it looks kind of bad.

Racist or not, Sony knew exactly what they were doing when they did this, and I hate the fact that they're getting publicity and buzz by exploiting the emotions of people concerning race.
