Defition of irony. Warning, NSFW!
There's wank over
bad_sex. *expects a hundred different puns about that to flood her inbox*
cambler, a professional photographer, posts about how his admiration of a 'glamor' model he works with resulted in his wife not wanting to have sex with him.
Fine and dandy so far, right? Well, he also makes the mistake of posting a frame from the set he was working on.
creativexangst makes the first comment and does it have anything to do with the post? Nope. It's all about the photo and how his status as professional photographer makes him critical.
He and
lizzvoltage go back and for a little, then the OP shows up and politely asks for con crit. He gets con crit but he also gets (in my opinion) a hell of a lot of attitude. He stays calm thoroughout it all, and
lizzvoltage seemingly retracts her opinion and calls him a good egg.
Meanwhile,
krysterella jumps in to rant about people that call themselves photographers when they're amateurs, and posts a pic of
lizzvoltage. Lizz doesn't react too well and she gets into another tiff with cambler, this time bringing up her photography of the flood and his eight-year-old-daughter seeing his photographs.
While they squabble,
emohippie calls hypocrite on Lizz for flying off the handle about the comments on the photograph of herself.
Moving away from that thread,
dirtynumbangel thinks the model looks fourteen.
emohippie pops up again near the end to point out the irony and cambler responds politely, albeit a little patronizingly (again, my opinion only).
Moral of the story? ...I don't know. I'm still too busy being amused at the idea of wank on
bad_sex.
Edit: Uh-oh. Someone made a post about bad_sex stories that aren't really funny. Maybe wank over there isn't as rare as I thought it was.
