"Buffalo Police Blog" or "Whine, Racketeer, Wank."
The Buffalo Police run an unofficial blog called The Lefty Line. However, they don't use it for Blogging. They use it for the comments field since apparently none of them can figure out how to setup a message board (computer scholars they're not). The officers post in anonymous comments because they think that it'll hide who they are if their commanding officers start checking around (apparently none of them have heard of the Computer Crimes Unit or perhaps an even more experienced investigator [info]charlottelennox both, I'm told, know how to do fun things with IPs, the latter is just better at it).

About a month ago the Buffalo Beast (a local rag that purports to be left wing and depending on who you ask, more or less is) decided to run an article on The Lefty Line which they titled Storm Trooping for Dollars which gives a nice background to what's currently going on in the City of Buffalo...because without this, you wouldn't understand why there's currently 577 Comments, Comprising 81 Printed Pages of pure wank for all of us to enjoy.

Highlights include horrible spelling, rampant gay/anti-gay references (they say cocksucker like it's a bad thing...), threatening to ticket and arrest as many people as possible (because that'll drum up citizen support for their cause), threatening to do nothing at all during emergencies (because clearly, that too will drum up citizen support for their cause) and my all time favorite, threatening the city and the control board with racketeering.

Wank abound!

1, 2, 3 Go!

It hurts me to know Buffalo is protected by people who can't even spell "illegal."

Oh god, Buffalo never changes, does it? I went there for college six years ago and boy was I glad to get the fuck out when I did. Also, if you think the police are shit, you should see the health care system.

Never thought my hometown could be so wanky.

No, actually, I knew it was, I just didn't think it'd make otf_wank.

I think I need an idiot-cop-to-English translator to read most of those comments.

It's like a Law and Order RPG, only ... actually, I'm not sure where I was going with that.
