That's the thing, females don't want true equality, you want to be paid like men but be treated like women. Sure, you can say you want to be treated equal, but the minute a man treats you like another guy, you get offended and make him go through sensitivity training or some such. Also, courts are far more likely to believe females than they are males, so if a man even slaps you once, oh it's domestic abuse and he's going to jail yet if you beat the shit out of him, you can just say it was in self defense and get off scott-free. I'm no mysogynist, but seriously, females do have it easier in life than males.

Going through the other comments, I have to admit confusion here:
divabat: There is a difference between slash and erotica.

Slash - involves gay pairing.
Het - involves straight pairing.

Either of this can be very tame (unrequited crushes, first kiss, etc) or very hardcode, or somewhere in between.

Just because a story is "slash" doesn't mean it's porn.

Anonymous:Untrue! Slash involves changing a character's sexuality. Slash from QAF would involve a lot of het sex.

Aww,

cagedwriter61! I feel a sort of warm and fuzzy glow whenever I see her name. All those endless multi-chapter House and Wilson smarm fics, with things like one of them joking about proposing to the other on New Years Eve, and big giant notes in the headers declaiming "NO SLASH INTENDED". All those--oh gosh, does she still have them? Yep. Those H/W colorbars that insist it's all about "BFF!" Of course, she's also got a colorbar about how she, herself, is love.

I almost don't want to read the wank itself in more detail. It would spoil the warm glow of nostalgia.
