IM IN UR COMMZ SCREENING UR COMMENTZ
Cheese to the mouse on [info]wank_report who came up with this one.

There's a comm on LJ called [info]thequestionclub that exists purely to answer questions. Any questions, from 'what's your favorite soup' to 'what do stay-at-home wives without kids do while they're at home?" Now, there's a few groundrules about this, and one of them is the following: Please refrain from posting multiple questions in a short period of time. If you're posting more than twice in a given block of ten or so posts, you're probably posting too frequently.

Simple enough, right?

Not really.

[info]madrigalskylark puts up four posts within a very short amount of time. On his fourth post one of the mods, [info]shippo, points out this is against comm rules. He isn't really taken seriously.

Not three hours later, he posts again on the grounds that 'well, it's past midnight so technically it's the next day so I waited long enough'. This doesn't go over well...but then, apparently, someone catches him screening and/or deleting comments on this post. Thumping bad form, as is pointed out to him with little effect.

About six hours later, [info]crazykimmy asks the following question:

How do you feel about screening comments in TQC? Especially if those comments are because you did not follow the rules?

The very first comment belongs to [info]madrigalskylark and he uses it to a) pitch a fit and b) make the world all about him. Not even being told that it's a valid question, inspired by his issue but not attacking him, will get him to shut up. Every single person that posts saying it's lame or some variation thereof is the recipient of one of his lovely attacks.

Godwin's gets broken and such is pointed out via image macro.

Screenshots of the offending comments.

Someone doesn't understand general comm etiquette. Plus macro.

And someone catches the wanker contradicting himself, oh noes!

How to find a comment.

Lots of image macros, mostly when something goes screaming over his head. Lots of attempts to have the last word. Lots of failure.

ETA: After trolling someone's personal LJ, our friend gets himself banninated. There is much rejoicing. The 'kill a baby' post referenced here was him asking something to the effect of 'if you could end world hunger/war/poverty/insert bad social shit here by killing one human baby would you kill the baby?' Being as I am a dork, I did not manage to cap the thing. Mea culpa.

The ETA Strikes Back: So apparently there was an earlier kerfluffle that directly ties into this. [info]sunsetcloud asked a question about what animal bits are in sausage; TQC members don't take too well to that sort of thing since you can google or wiki the answer real fast. Post gets bahleeted, but account is saved for posterity here.

Sausage moment (thank you, mousie).

Poll re: the comment disabling kerfluffle.

And lo and behold, look what pops up: [info]nicequestionclb (and check out this most recent post). Check out the maintainer's userinfo and friends, specifically. Seems our wankers formed a commune -- and an exclusive one at that! (Thanks for that last link, [info]caito!)

First wank post. I feel so pretty.
