Over on mock_the_stupid, mistresslola gets annoyed about the other members' views on swearing.

Just a small wank, but drags in the treatment of Native Americans and How Her Ancestors Suffered So.

	Frankly, I think the person who brought up the NAs to begin with was wankier than mistresslola. It still probably wasn't a good idea for her to get into it with him, though. (Reply to this)

	Damn, you beat me to this one. Did mistresslola really expect people to stand up and agree with her in a community like mock_the_stupid? And the hypocracy involved. Wow. Going into the "freedom of speech" and "it's a free country" thing while criticizing people for what they said. (Reply to this)

	I'm the one who posted the original thread (okay, I posted it in my own journal; my friend dropped it into mock_the_stupid), and I still can't puzzle out how discussion of a guy being offended by a game evolved/devolved into anything remotely relevant to Native Americans.
