Someone on my flist brought this to my attention: There is a community called iconscraper that basically gathers up icon-sized pictures from the LJ picture feed and dumps them in huge posts.  Since not all images 100 x 100 and smaller are icons, it also steals mood theme pictures, non-icon photos and everything else.  As well, the images are hotlinked.   Unsurprisingly, people get pissed about it.  The owner,  samplebitch,  decides to post a retaliation post explaining how clever he (editted to correct a gender mishap LOL) is for creating the application that stole all the pictures and tells everyone off.

Small for now but could get completely out of hand at any minute.
