Small, But a Repeat Offender
*tips hat to mousie on wank_report, even though mousie can't spell 'cue'*

Remember this? Once upon a time, [info]languid_ardor got a bit pissy over the fact that people on [info]saucydwellings thought her dwelling was less than saucy. Well, [info]languid_ardor is back, and this time she's reaming out people posting pictures of homes that are "not design material". And thus the wank comes, with half the commenters asking [info]languid_ardor where the pics of her dwelling be (even though she admits her own place is "not up to that standard"). It's really a shame that the [info]languid_ardor post from months ago has gone the way of bah-letion, or else she might have pointed to her own dwelling as a poor example of sauciness.

One has to wonder, though - why is [info]languid_ardor hanging out in a community she seems to hate so much?

Ah, languid_ardor. Just yesterday I was rereading her massive "PORN IS EVIL" wank on stupid_free.

I'm too lazy to write this up, but here's the thread on Apartment Therapy that inspired [info]languid_ardor's post.

Short version: [Bad username: malevolencia"] (Lesa) entered pictures of her living room in Apartment Therapy's Fall Colors contest. Readers of AT's blogs vote on the entries, and a couple of people didn't like her decor.

Not liking even the small amount of negative feedback she got at AT, [info]malevolencia complained to [info]saucydwellings about the so-called "haters." So several people from [info]saucydwellings went over to AT to vote in her favor, praise her decor, and make snippy comments in response to the critics.

Wank ensued, of course, and [info]malevolencia made matters far worse by responding to her critics. When things got too hot, she pulled her original request for votes and comments. So that's what prompted [info]languid_ardor's post, particularly the part where she said:
It's really immature to post those pictures there, knowing they aren't what the contest is looking for, and then get all butthurt when people point out that it doesn't belong there.

I can't believe I've been following decorating wank. It's probably because I've had my fill of Project Runway...

And it's interesting to compare and contrast her behavior at AT with another [info]saucydwellings member, [info]kkbb, who got all kinds of crap for her red bathtub and religious kitsch, but handled it gracefully.

Besides it was amusing enough for this particular journal, surely it's all okay unless you are also a member of saucydwellings and knowing that particular user, aka languid_ardor...fan of not much but his/her life and all that not to mention a hater of all that is saucy if it doesn't apply to him or her.

Oh my god. Let's bow to languid_ardor for his/her mad saucy skills as apparently that is the only way to meet life with an appropriate amount of Zen and if that doesn't do it for you, how about some Christian love?
