	A South Korean government official said it was "preposterous" to assert the goal of the talks has changed since an agreement in principle was reached in September 2005, under which North Korea would dismantle its nuclear programs in exchange for aid and security guarantees. Well, it might have, but it never got the chance because the US came down on North Korea's drug trafficking and counterfeiting operations a few days later. There the North Koreans were, the ink on the treaty barely dry, and they're frozen out of their Macao bank accounts by one of the guys they'd just made a deal with--and being denounced as a criminal regime to boot. I'm not saying the charges weren't true, but you've got to admit that choosing that exact moment to tweak Kim Jong-il's nose was not the best timing ever.

	Actually, they DO sell them! A bunch of the people at my office have them glued to the sides of their cubicles. Not as effective as you wished they could be, but good for a laugh. :) (Reply to this)(Parent)

This is the part that makes me stare..."There is no need for Japan to participate in (the talks) as a local delegate because it is no more than a state of the U.S. and it is enough for Tokyo just to be informed of the results of the talks by Washington," North Korea's foreign ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

They actually said that? o.O

But regardless, the summary made me laugh out loud. And I shared it with all my friends.
