So remember lovecrafty? Well, apparently he just can't stay away from here, because he's back with even more crap flowing from his mouth! This time he's made metaquotes. Or rather, a quote about him has made it.

Following the links back to the original source, we arrive here in anti-feminism in which lovecrafty and bunnyface23 discuss the word 'slut'. Fast forward to bunnyface23 making a post of her own to discuss this further with the entire community. This is where we reach the context for the MQ quote, in which lovecrafty says, Females evolved pleasurable response to sex as a survival mechanism to deal with rape, much as males evolved the same to encourage it -- certainly long before humans ever arrived on the scene.

Men evolved to compete with each other and then seize women as prizes, to force themselves on their prizes, and then develop a sense of emotional attachement to their prizes. Meanwhile women developed to enjoy being captured, and to take advantage of the emotional attachments that the male developed to enlist his aid in child-rearing.

It's pretty ugly yes, but it's there. And if you don't understand that men (all men) have that drive to varying degrees, to just take and let the consequences sort themselves out, then you'll never understand why men can get so angry at women that they will beat them to death for not consenting to sexual relations. Naturally, everyone is not inclined to agree. This takes us to stupid_free in which LC's quote makes an appearance. It is here where lapsarianesque is metaquoted for saying when zombies do rise from the dead to kill us all, the zombie evolutionary biologist stephen jay gould will be making a beeline straight for lovecrafty and will beat him to death with his own arm.

Now we finally arrive at the MQ post. Be sure to look for some wankery in the comments dealing with LC's name being included in the quote, the context featuring trigger words, and a special guest appearance by LC himself.

He refers to it as forming a hypothesis. The problem is that he then ignores the next steps of the scientific method - i.e. proving or disproving - and goes straight to the announcement and lobbying for a Nobel prize. In reputable scientific circles, this is known as Making Shit Up.
