Wii Broke My TV!
"you guys are so immature, and the whole world hates you."

While searching for the hilarious Wii Killed My TV, I ran across Rottenbanana claiming that the Wii physically blew out the bulb in his/her TV, mostly because the image was too "graphically intensive." When told that all the Wii does is send images, coincidence trumps logic anyway. Rottenbanana proceeds to also claim that basic engineering principles are only touted by stupid Wii fanboys. Mocking ensues, but Rottenbanana continues with the crusade, and apparently is also hoarding PS3s.

Enjoy, the whole thread's worth a read.

Ironically, all the Engineering boys in my Physics class on Friday were obsessed with talking about the Wii. But I don't think they blamed it for blowing out any TVs.

Best bit:

wii broke my fridge!

i swear i was playing wii and i thought id get a bite to eat so i opened the fridge and bang the light went out and it turned off,

it could just be a coincidence but i think its more likely the wii as i was playing it at the time

Wii broke my toe!

It was actually me dropping a drum on it in mid-August, but the Wii was in development at the time.

Coincidence? I think NOT, Nintendo!

Hahahaha. Those of you whom have the intelegence equivilent of a goat amuse me in frightening ammounts.

Gotta love spelling mistakes when throwing about intelligence insults. It's like an unwritten law of karma. xD

If any of you have had the ps2/xbox system, you know that there were numerous problems with the systems leaving images burned onto screens, and in some cases burning out the bulb because of the amount of digital images being processed onto the screen.

Really? I have never seen these multitudes of reports...

Rottenbanana comes across as an idiot. nuff said. :/

Rottenbanana does realise (and boy, is that ever a phrase I never thought I'd write, heh) that televisions don't work with lightbulbs anymore, right? o_O

Sounds like he's trying to use the old ghosting argument. If any image sits too long on a screen it will leave a faint image impression on the screen, but soon as they discovered that, they came up with the screen savers..etc.

Dude, not wearing the Wiimote strap is like not wearing your seat belt. Yeah, the odds are that you won't need it, and it's all "cool" and "hardcore" to eschew it, but then all of a sudden you find yourself flung out of the front windshield of your car, skidding along the pavement at sixty miles an hour. Or in this case, the owner of a busted $1500 television.

And on that note, I let out a hearty laugh at the expense of all those less responsible Wii owners. HA! HA! HA!

Too graphically intense? The Wii is the least graphically intense of the next-gen consoles.

I still can't help but giggle at the guy who cracked his TV with a flying wiimote. I mean sucks but LOL.
