Over at [info]parent_drama, a mother is snarked for feeding her baby fudgesicles. When someone mentions the risk of diabetes, [info]bennysmom chimes in:

Actually, that won't cause diabetes. Even type 2 although that is usually caused by being obese. Fudgesicles don't have much fat even.

*Type 1 diabetic here who was kind of offended by your ignorant statement.

As a result, she is snarked in [info]stupid_free.

But wait, there's more! [info]bennysmom shows up to defend herself! And much lulz are had by all.

Excuse me for not belonging to the community being mocked and not recognizing it is mocking. I would say, in that case, the icon rather fails in it's purpose.

And yeah, I'm an idiot, which is why I graduate from a highly respected University this upcoming Spring. And yes I did have at least a small partial scholarship or two.

Oh yeah, I'm so wounded. You really got me. I made a typo on an internet forum. OH WOEZ!!! I TEH SUCK!!!1!

Typos do not directly have anything to do with intelligence. Sorry, if I didn't deem your insult as important enough to proof read my responce. Especially not when I have actually important things to be doing. Like working on my thesis.

My university didn't need to teach me that as I learned it in grade school, thank you very much. I also never said I took that icon completely seriously. Did you stop to think that maybe I wasn't being completely serious myself? And on the internet... well, a lot of stupid shit goes down, so I wouldn't have been surprised if you had been serious. You know what they say about assuming things, right?

This is such a lols self-important comment. If you have better things to do, like working on a thesis, why are you online responding to me? See, if you had better things to do, you wouldn't respond in the first place, as you'd be off, doing better things. A typo would signify some missing or additional letters, not a glaring misuse of a word, but nice try. It is one of the most basic rules of the internet: if you have to try to prove you're smart, it's not going to work.

I'm glad I made you laugh. It's called procrastinating. A bad habit of which I am (obviously unsuccessfully) trying to rid myself of.

And I never said I wouldn't respond, just that I do have better things to be doing than looking over my comments for every little typo.

I do aim to amuse afterall. It really has been fun. That previous post was going to be my last, but I'm enjoying myself far too much. 8D

It's still funny to see you bristle and make grammar errors. I couldn't care less about anything concerning you and your education, sorry to say. I personally doubt you have a scholarship - or is it scholarships? You don't even know.

Specifically, your latest request here is a roffle because how on earth could someone insulting your precious intelligence be witty and funny to you? Obviously, it can never happen because you think UR TOO SMART, and you go to a highly respected university.

*shrugs* It was a bad day yesterday. Normally I would have just ignored her. After thinking it over yeah, I said stupid stuff. I probably would have deleted my comments if they hadn't been responded to. Once they were, well, I can admit to my faults. No use denying it. (or fearing what people here think of me, as I'm sure we've all had our moments). Not to mention, I try and not delete comments whenever possible, because it's just a shitty thing to do.

Also, yeah, I am more prone to grammatical mistakes when I haven't slept. I have learning disabilities that still crop up when I'm tired.

I'm over it. As I said, I'm glad people found it amusing.

Also, for future reference, I only said that thing about my university, because what's her name said that I had no future and would never get any scholarships. In which she was already wrong. That's what that was about. My university is a highly respected university for the performing and fine arts, and it isn't easy to get into (or stay in). So yeah, I was a little bemused as to why she was accusing me of the things she was, and it just escalated from there. I could give the name of my uni, but it isn't hard to find as it's not something I hide. Almost anyone who follows my journal would know it (or be able to find it).
