Ooh, this is a tough one. On the one hand, I agree with everything the kid said, and on the other hand I almost sorta sorta agree that she's being used by an adult to put out propaganda, which might potentially put her in danger. But the worst kind of child abuse? No. I've seen Jesus Camp. That's child abuse right there. The kid did not say "vile" things, she said a few cusswords that were appropriate in context and served the purpose of getting the attention. I have no problem with how she was dressed, I see worse on younger kids.

I also love all the supposed Christians telling people to fuck off and stuff.

I'm pretty sure your Bible tells you that Jesus wants you to turn the other cheek, not tell people to kiss your ass. LOL.

Eh, parents make their kids parrot their opinions all the time. I don't think it's much worse than any other religious indoctrination.

Well, I agree that using your child to spout your opinions about something is not cool. But O'Reilly's still a class-A wanker. Christians need to learn how to handle the fact that not everyone believes what they do. (And I say this as a Christian. Yes, some of us are sane.)

"Excessive profanity"? Have these people set foot in an elementary school, for comparison? Also, arm socks + tank top = OMG SLUT? Wonderful. And yeah, it's inconceivable that an 8-year-old could be playing a part or reading off a script.

Even if she did (OHNOES) believe everything she said there, it doesn't mean she'll think that unto the end of time; it's no different from giving your kid a religious education. Maybe they'll stick to it, maybe they'll rebel and reject it all.

Oh right, what am I thinking--kids are receptacles for information and never come up with their own ideas or (INCONCEIVABLE) ever change their minds about anything. Right. Forgot about that.

I don't like the video and I think the parents are out of line (and rather narcissistic) for making a video of their kid parroting their views - NO kid that young has that strong of political opinions. Also because from the sound of the video their views more closely approach "ranting" than "rational debate".

But O'Reilly's making an ass of himself by calling it child abuse. The kid probably had fun just being on video, without having any real idea what the heck they were talking about.

Still this time the star of the show for me is Wendy Murphy. I knew what she was going to say would be good as soon as I saw her 'shocked face' at the utterance of 'ass'. What she said from that part on just got better and better. Getting a child to spout political propaganda is the 'ultimate inhumane treatment of a child' according to Wendy. I was genuinely waiting for her to say "won't someone think of the children?!"
