Over in mock_the_stupid, there's a post about someone who can't seem to tell the difference between a webcam and a cell phone that can take videos. Someone doesn't get the stupid, and vamour and opalcat start fapping away:

opalcat: Um. You don't have to be a "hard core tech geek" to see the difference in convenience between a camera phone (a camera that you would have with you at nearly all times) and a webcam (a camera attached to a computer by a short cable).

vamour: Actually, they both give roughly the same quality compression ratios on the footage that they capture, so really the only difference is if they're portable or not. There's really nothing here that qualifies as 'stupid'.

It seems to be over, as opalcat has threatened to bring out the banhammer, but it was amusing while it lasted.
